experienced trekkers in brilliant shape. This great outdoors trail has a total elevation difference of 2,918 feet which is a higher than average number. Straight Creek Trail is a great outdoors hiking trail relatively far from Medford, but it is an outstanding shelter from the
settlement. Outdoors people generally like this part of Oregon. There are not too many backpacking and hiking trails in this vicinity. Straight Creek Trail is a two ended great outdoors trail with two trailheads, so if you can get a ride from someone, you can backcountry walk it
just one way. Now this wilderness hiking trail is pretty long, so make sure you bring plenty of supplies. Straight Creek Trail is a quite wet site ordinarily with a large amount of rainfall; November is when you get the most rain here while July is usually the driest month.

about the general area: There are some glorious whitewater spots on Umpqua River - South, and there's some flowing water nearby, West Creek is a stream you can stop at while here. If you came to camp Tiller RV Park is a delightful site to do that. Straight Creek Trail is
good enough to spend more than a day at, Shadow Falls Campground is a good local campground; Straight Creek is one of the streams close by that might be worth taking a look at. Man, is there a lot of enjoyable things to do in the Southern Cascade Range. It's always brilliant to have a look at Johnnie Spring, and there's whitewater on Little River for all you adrenaline rush seekers.
