You can run the rapids of Santiam River - North close to Straight Creek Cat Trail; you can stay the night at Tombstone Prairie Campground. Yep, outdoors cool stuff truly is abundant here in the Central Cascade Range. Single Creek is one of the streams close by that might be worth a visit. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Straight Creek Cat Trail has to offer, you can camp at Country Star Recreational Vehicle Park.
Lost Creek is a stream that you may come across while here, and Breitenbush River is a perfect whitewater spot close by.
