in the 40's, and night lows in the 20's for Starvation Trail. Even though this is not a very long hiking trail you should still bring some emergency supplies just in case something happens. Sometimes this hiking trail gets really dry, so don’t forget to check for any current fire restrictions before you go. Every single Oregon wilderness hiking trail is worth backcountry trekking. You should count on this trek taking about 4 hours, but you never know stuff could go wrong and you could get stuck so be prepared for that. This backcountry trail has two trailheads, so if you can get a ride from someone, you can hike it just one way. Starvation Trail is a location that is rather dry mostly; May is when you get the most rain here; July is the month with the least moisture. Please follow all local rules about fires and camping. You can't spend all your time indoors you need to get out once in a while, and Starvation Trail in Baker County, Oregon is a wonderful place for getting out. Being 4.6 miles long it's a mid length backcountry trek.

This river is always fun. Snow Creek is near Starvation Trail and is always a pleasure to pop by. Having a brilliant time in the Blue Mountains is uncomplicated. There's so much to do here at Starvation Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Fopian Campground is a tremendous place for that; the beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Kooney Spring.
You'll need more than a day to explore everything Starvation Trail has to offer, you can camp at Wickiup Campground, and don't leave Starvation Trail without first paying a visit to Roaring Spring.
