This backcountry trail has two trailheads, so if you can get a ride from someone, you can hike it just one way. Starvation Trail is a location that is rather dry mostly; May is when you get the most rain here; July is the month with the least moisture. Please follow all local rules

place for that; the beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Kooney Spring. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Starvation Trail has to offer, you can camp at Wickiup Campground, and don't leave Starvation Trail without first paying a visit to Roaring Spring.
