Starvation Trail is very far from the closest big settlement, and It's always fun to hike here. Oregon has so much to offer the great outdoors lovers. This backcountry hike shouldn't take more than 4 hours, but you never know stuff could go wrong and you could get stuck so be prepared for that. Ok, you've been cooped up too long,
    time to get out in nature a bit, and Starvation Trail in Baker County, Oregon is just the place. This area does get very dry sometimes, so don’t forget to check for any current fire restrictions before you go. Every great outdoors hiking trail in Oregon is lovely in its own way.
This backcountry hiking trail has two trailheads, so backpacking it one way is an option if you can arrange for a ride back. The great outdoors hiking trails of the Blue Mountains are the best way to enjoy these summits. Being 4.6 miles long it's a mid length backcountry walk. Don’t forget to check for any current restrictions or closures before you go. Not much rain falls here at Starvation Trail; May is the wettest month with most rain while July is generally the driest month. The length of this great outdoors hiking trail is about average having an  
average number of uphill miles which makes it a wonderful hiking trail for the average person looking for a wonderful adventure. This backcountry trail is not that long but you should still bring some emergency supplies just in case something happens. For the period of the summer at Starvation Trail temperatures are commonly in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 40's. For the period of the winter highs are mostly in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Starvation Trail. Starvation Trail goes through some very different elevations which of course means you need to be prepared for different conditions on different parts of the wilderness trail. There are not too many hiking trails in this region. Starvation Trail has a total elevation difference of 1,811 feet which is an average number.

A nice place to camp here at Starvation Trail is Fopian Campground. Starvation Trail is magnificent enough to spend more than a day at, Wickiup Campground is a magnificent local campground It's always splendid to take a look at Roaring Spring.
If you like the outdoors you'll like it here in the Blue Mountains. Snow Creek is a wonderful stream that is worth going to, and a trip to Kooney Spring will fill your spirit with wonderful feelings.
