This wilderness trail has two trailheads, so backpacking it one way is an option if you can arrange for a ride back. Even though this is not a very long wilderness trail it's always magnificent to bring some emergency supplies, you never know what could happen. This backcountry walk shouldn't take more than 3.5 hours, but you never know stuff could go wrong and you could get stuck so be prepared for that. This wilderness trail has a total elevation difference of 540 feet, and that is lower than average. With its 4.2 miles of walking distance it's an average length wilderness hiking trail. You spend the whole trek in roughly the same elevation zone, so you won’t have to worry about different climate zones along your trek. This area does get very dry sometimes, so don’t forget to check for any current fire restrictions before you go.
