  There are many glorious trails in Oregon, and one of those is Squaw Rock Trail in Grant County. Squaw Rock Trail is a very long way away from modern life, and trekking along this backpacking trail is very exciting. Trekking here in Oregon is always an enjoyable thing to do. Squaw Rock Trail is 4.2 miles long it's an average length backpacking trail. Oregon has so much to offer nature lovers. This is a two-ended wilderness hiking trail with two trailheads, so trekking it one way is an option if you can arrange for a ride back. Squaw Rock Trail stays roughly
    within the same elevation zone the whole time which means the conditions are about the same from start to finish. The pretty backcountry trails of the Blue Mountains are the best way to enjoy these highlands. This backpacking trail is not that long but it's always splendid to bring
some emergency supplies, you never know what could happen. There are so many great outdoors trails in this area. This backcountry trek shouldn't take more than 3.5 hours, but of course some people walk a bit slower and some a bit faster. Don’t forget to check for any current restrictions or closures before you go. This vicinity does get very dry sometimes, so do check for current fire restrictions before you go if you plan to bring a stove or make a camp fire. This backcountry trail is a mid length backcountry trail having an average number of uphill miles which  
makes this great outdoors trail great for the average trekker looking for a cool adventure. When was the last time you got out in the outdoors a bit? Squaw Rock Trail in Grant County, Oregon is just what you need. Around Squaw Rock Trail you don’t get a lot of rain; the month of November is the wettest with most of the rain, and July meanwhile is the driest month. Squaw Rock Trail has a total elevation difference of 540 feet, and that is lower than average. There are plenty of trails in Oregon; each one of them is striking in its own way. Throughout the summertime months at Squaw Rock Trail highs are usually in the 80's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 30's. For the duration of the winter the highs are ordinarily in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Squaw Rock Trail.

Get yourself into a kayak and hit John Day River - North Fork, and camping at Squaw Rock Trail is brilliant fun, Trough Creek Campground is a brilliant local campground. Now, you may feel that's heaps but there's even more entertaining things to do here in the Blue Mountains. Head O'Boulder Spring is a beautiful site to go to while you're at Squaw Rock Trail, and why not camp at Deerhorn Campground if you're here at Squaw Rock Trail.
