Oregon hiking trails - Spring Mountain Way, Central Cascade Range, Douglas County

   
  Spring Mountain Way is relatively distant from the least distant settlement, and backcountry backpacking is such a cool thing to do, and this is a wonderful place to do that. In Oregon you never run out of outdoors fun. Backpacking in Oregon is something that is always fun to do. All the water falling down from the sky makes Spring Mountain Way a wet place; the month with most of the rain is November while July is ordinarily the driest month. Hiking trails like this one here in the Central Cascade Range are a really perfect way to spend quality time
    in nature. This hiking trail goes through some very different elevations, and that means that some parts of the hiking trail could be very different from other parts of it. This is a neighborhood covered with lots of hiking and backpacking trails. Now this great outdoors hiking
trail is pretty long, so make sure you bring plenty of supplies. Hey, time for a backcountry trek don’t you think? Spring Mountain Way in Douglas County, Oregon is a wonderful place for getting out. This hiking trail has two trailheads, so if you can get a ride from someone, you can backcountry hike it just one way. And keep in mind that there could be temporary safety restrictions in spot. Every single Oregon great outdoors hiking trail is different from the others. Through the warm months here at Spring Mountain Way, high temperatures usually reach the  
80's. Through the moonlight hours it's generally in the 40's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Spring Mountain Way are in the 30's. At parts of the year this neighborhood sees very little rain, so do check for current fire restrictions before you go if you plan to bring a stove or make a camp fire. Of course, this is an overnight backcountry hike, 2 days normally, so better have big backpack to fit all the stuff you need. With its 12.8 miles of walking distance; it's considered a longer backcountry trek. This backpacking and hiking trail is a backpacking and hiking trail of perfect length having an average number of uphill miles which makes it an outstanding hiking and backpacking trail for experienced backcountry trekkers in wonderful shape. This hiking trail has a total elevation difference of 4,292 feet which is a higher than average number. There are so many great great outdoors hiking trails for backcountry backpacking in Oregon, and Spring Mountain Way in Douglas County is one of them.

Briefly about the general area:
A tremendous location to pop by right next door to Spring Mountain Way is Dark Canyon. There's so much to do here at Spring Mountain Way that you need to camp here for a while, Weeping Rock Campground is a good spot for that. So much fun stuff to do here at Spring Mountain Way, too pleasant to be true. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Copland Creek; do take some time to pop by Ringtail Pine while you're here.
You are right next door to Charcoal Point if you're here at Spring Mountain Way; a short journey to Illahee Spring is always worthwhile. If you come at the right time of year, Steamboat Creek offers some perfect whitewater. Yeah, come up here to the Central Cascade Range for a good time. Rattlesnake Creek is a stream that you may stumble upon while here, and Spring Mountain Way is delightful enough to spend more than a day at, Slim Chance Campground is a delightful local campground.
Be careful coming to the Central Cascade Range, you might not ever wanna return home again. Everybody loves Horse Prairie; Boulder Creek is one of the streams close by that might be worth taking a look at. Oak Flats is a glorious location, and Soda Springs is an inspiring location to take a look at while you're here.
