Oregon hiking trails - South Loop Trail, Central Cascade Range, Linn County

   
  Gotta get out of the town man, and South Loop Trail in Linn County, Oregon is a good place for getting out. There are hiking trails all over Oregon; South Loop Trail in Linn County is one of them. Backcountry backpacking in Oregon is so much fun. Sometimes this great outdoors hiking trail gets really dry, so make sure you check current conditions and fire restrictions with local forest authorities before you head out. This is one of many backcountry trails in the surrounding area. And keep in mind that there could be temporary safety restrictions in
    spot. There are two trailheads to chose from, one in each end, so if you can get a ride from someone, you can backcountry trek it just one way. Oregon is a tremendous site for outdoors folks. South Loop Trail is 3.8 miles long it's shorter than many great outdoors hiking trails.
South Loop Trail is not very close to Bend at all, but you always have a good time when you're backcountry trekking along it. South Loop Trail gets a large amount of water; December is when you get the most rain here; the driest of the months is July. At South Loop Trail throughout the long summer days highs are in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 40's. Throughout the wintertime the highs are frequently in the 30's; after the sun is down throughout the wintertime temperatures at South Loop Trail fall into the 20's. This backcountry  
walk shouldn't take more than 3 hours, but you never know stuff could go wrong and you could get stuck so be prepared for that. There's not much difference in elevation along the great outdoors hiking trail, so you get pretty much the same conditions along the whole great outdoors hiking trail. This great outdoors hiking trail has a total elevation difference of 154 feet which is lower than average. Backcountry trekking here in the Central Cascade Range is the best way to enjoy these mountaintops. Even though this is not a very long great outdoors hiking trail it's always splendid to bring some emergency supplies, you never know what could happen. Every hiking trail in Oregon has its own character. South Loop Trail is a very short great outdoors trail having an average number of uphill miles which makes this backcountry trail great for the average backcountry trekker looking for a cool adventure.

You just can't envision the amount of outdoors fun things the Central Cascade Range has to offer. If you came for an overnight stay Cold Springs Resort is a good place to camp. A great site in the neighborhood of South Loop Trail is Hidden Valley, and camping is available at Suttle Lake Resort and Marina.
