  Oregon has plenty of brilliant great outdoors trails, and one of these is South Loop Trail in Linn County. Here in Oregon backcountry backpacking is a splendid way to spend some time. A visit to Oregon is not complete without some hiking. With its 3.8 miles of walking distance it's shorter than many wilderness hiking trails. These hiking and backpacking trails here in the Central Cascade Range are the best way to enjoy these hills. Sometimes this great outdoors trail gets really dry, so do check for current fire restrictions before you go if you plan
    to bring a stove or make a camp fire. This is one of many hiking trails in the surrounding region. And keep in mind that there could be temporary safety restrictions in place. High temperatures at South Loop Trail during the months of summer are in the 80's. When the night sets
in temperatures descend down into the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's, and overnight lows in the 20's for South Loop Trail. South Loop Trail gets much water; through the month of December you get the most rain around here, and the driest month is July. This great outdoors trail is not that long but you should still bring some emergency supplies just in case something happens. This great outdoors hiking trail has a total elevation difference of 154 feet which is lower than average. When was the last time you got out in the great outdoors

This hiking and backpacking trail is a very short hiking and backpacking trail with an average amount of climbing distance which makes this hiking trail great for the average walker looking for an exciting adventure. Quite far from Bend you come across South Loop Trail, but if you're looking for a nice spot to go backpacking, this is a nice pick. There's not much difference in elevation along South Loop Trail, so you won’t have to worry about different climate zones along your backcountry hike. You should count on this hike taking about 3 hours, but you never know stuff could go wrong and you could get stuck so be prepared for that. South Loop Trail has two trailheads, so hiking it one way is an option if you can arrange for a ride back.
