A good deal of rain falls at Snowshoe Lake Trail; December is the month that gets the most rain while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. There's not much difference in elevation along the hiking trail which means the conditions are about the same from start to finish. With its 17.8 miles of walking distance; it's a long hiking trail. Snowshoe Lake Trail has only one trailhead, so you're looking at an in and out backcountry hike. At Snowshoe Lake Trail throughout   the summer highs are in the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 40's while Snowshoe Lake Trail nighttime low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 20's. Now, this is roughly a 2.5-day hike, so it's a splendid thing if your backpack is big enough to do the job. Please follow all local rules about fires and camping. Briefly about the general area: Benz Spring is always fun to check out, and do set aside some time for Reserve Meadow if you're here at Snowshoe Lake Trail. This river has it all. Some nearby water includes Deer Creek; a pleasant journey to Mink Lake Basin is a fine way to spend an afternoon. So many fun things near Snowshoe Lake Trail, clearly fantastic. Charlton Creek is one of the streams close by that might be worth visiting; East Lake Resort and RV Parks is a brilliant campground here. This spot, the Central Cascade Range, has so much outdoors cool things. Whitewater paddling is brilliant on Horse Creek. If you like the outdoors you'll like it here in the Central Cascade Range. Stay the night at Upper Campground, and in case you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Deschutes River. Put some time aside to spend at Wright Spring if you're here at Snowshoe Lake Trail, and Corral Draw is also a wonderful place to discover.
