There is only one trailhead, so you're looking at an in and out backcountry walk. Being 6 miles long it's a mid length backcountry trek. The time needed for this hike is roughly 5.5 hours, but of course some people walk a bit slower and some a bit faster. There's not much difference in elevation along the hiking trail, so you get pretty much the same conditions along the whole hiking trail. This area does get very dry sometimes, so don’t forget to check for any current fire restrictions before you go. This trail is not that long but it's always delightful to bring some emergency supplies, you never know what could happen. This great outdoors trail has a total elevation difference of 1,354 feet which is about average.
