means you have the option of trekking it one way if you have someone to pick you up at the other end. The total elevation difference for this wilderness trail is 1,108 feet, and that is about average. Please follow all local rules about fires and camping. It's a long journey from
Eugene-Springfield to Skeeter Camp Trail, but it is one of many splendid backpacking trails in this area. Being 4.8 miles long it's a mid length trek. Skeeter Camp Trail stays roughly within the same elevation zone the whole time, so you won’t have to worry about different climate
zones along your trek. This hike shouldn't take more than 4 hours, but you never know stuff could go wrong and you could get stuck so be prepared for that.
