trail. This is a long wilderness trail, so make sure you bring plenty of supplies. Backpacking and hiking trails are pleasant and plentiful in Oregon; one of these is Six Lakes Trail in Deschutes County. Throughout the summertime, highs mostly are in the 80's at Six Lakes Trail.
Summer night lows fall down to the 40's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Six Lakes Trail are in the 20's. You spend the whole backcountry trek in roughly the same elevation zone which means the conditions are about the same from start
to finish.
Briefly about the general area: And if that's not enough there's lots more enjoyable stuff to do in the Central Cascade Range. Glide down the rapids of Deschutes River in a kayak, and Wright Spring is an inspiring spot to visit during your stay. Upper Campground
is a great campground here, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Squaw Creek. Now, you may imagine that's lots but there's even more entertaining things to do here in the Central Cascade Range. Camping at Six Lakes Trail is tremendous fun, East Lake Resort and RV Parks is
a tremendous local campground, and a short journey to Elk Lake Springs is always worthwhile. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this site. Sink Creek is a stream that you may encounter during your stay; everybody loves Wire Meadow. At this river you will never have a bad time. Island Meadow is a great place here at Six Lakes Trail; obviously Quinn Creek flows through this region.
