Briefly
about the general area: So many exciting things in the Central Cascade Range, just tremendous. Camping at Slim Chance Campground is always a great experience; a great place for whitewater paddling is Sharps Creek. In case you don’t mind getting dripping wet, you can always
go whitewater paddling on Layng Creek, and don't forget to take a wonderful little visit to Clark Creek. Coming to this river is always a good idea. A fine site to visit near Silica Trail is Sailors Gulch; if you came to camp Happy Eagle Lodge and RV's is a tremendous place to do that. Why not take a look at close by Quartz Creek while you're here at Silica Trail.
