Briefly about the general area: Kalitan Creek flows through this neighborhood, and paddling on Salt Creek is so much fun. Whitewater paddling is fine on Salmon Creek, and Salmon Falls is an inspiring location to stop at while here. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors enjoyable stuff the Central Cascade Range has to offer. There's some flowing water nearby, Horsehead Creek is a stream you can have a look at while you're here. There's so much to do here at Shitepoke Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Oakridge RV Park is a brilliant place for that.
