Briefly about the general area: This is such a wonderful river. Salmon Falls is a great local attraction. There's so much to do here at Shitepoke Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Oakridge Mobile Home Park is a
good place for that. Take a side trip to Kalitan Creek. Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining things in the Central Cascade Range. There's whitewater on Salmon Creek for all you adrenaline junkies, and do have a look at Horsehead Creek while you're here at Shitepoke
Trail. You can run the rapids of Salt Creek in the vicinity of Shitepoke Trail. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Shitepoke Trail has to offer, you can camp at Oakridge RV Park.
