  Oregon has plenty of delightful hiking trails, and Section Line Trail is one of them, and it's in Morrow County. If you happen to be in Oregon, why not go hiking, it is a magnificent idea. Every single Oregon hiking trail has something unique to offer. With its 5.8 miles of walking distance it's an average length backcountry trail. Oregon is a glorious place for outdoors people. The wilderness hiking trails of the Blue Mountains are a glorious way to explore these hills. This is one of a very small number of backcountry trails in this vicinity. Not much rain
    falls here at Section Line Trail; the month of November is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month is July. At Section Line Trail through the months of summer highs are in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 50's. During the winter this site gets highs in the 40's
with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Section Line Trail. This hiking trail has two trailheads which means you have the option of backcountry trekking it one way if you have someone to pick you up at the other end. This backpacking trail sometimes gets very dry, so make sure you check current conditions and fire restrictions with local forest authorities before you head out. Don’t forget to check for any current restrictions or closures before you go. Even though this is not a very long backpacking trail you should still bring some emergency supplies  
just in case something happens. The backcountry trail stays roughly within the same elevation zone the whole time, so you won’t have to worry about different climate zones along your backcountry trek. This wilderness hiking trail is a mid length wilderness hiking trail with an average amount of climbing distance which makes it a tremendous backcountry trail for the average person looking for a tremendous adventure. Section Line Trail is located a quite long tour from Pendleton-Hermiston, but it is a perfect refuge from the town. The time needed for this backcountry hike is roughly 5 hours, but you never know stuff could go wrong and you could get stuck so be prepared for that. This hiking trail has a total elevation difference of 570 feet which is lower than average. Finally, backcountry trekking time is here again, and Section Line Trail in Morrow County, Oregon is a perfect choice.

Briefly about the general area:
There's some flowing water nearby, Wilson Creek is a stream you can take a look at while here; camping at Section Line Trail is great fun, C and D Motel and Trailer Court is a great local campground. Pole Creek is close to Section Line Trail and is always a delight to stop at; a tour to Brush Spring will fill your spirit with nice feelings.
The views at John Day Fossil Beds National Monument will blow your mind, and the beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Hunter Spring. If only every place had this much outdoors amusing things, what a great earth it would be. You should unquestionably dedicate some time to Kelly Prairie while you're here at Section Line Trail. Life's too short to enjoy all the cool things in the Blue Mountains. Glide down the rapids of John Day River - North Fork in a kayak, and Meadowbrook Lodge and Overnight Park is a perfect campground here.
