of the summertime months here at Scott Trail, high temperatures generally reach the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 40's. During the winter highs are in the 30's, and overnight lows at Scott Trail throughout the winter frequently descend into the
20's. All the water falling down from the sky makes Scott Trail a wet site; December is the month that gets the most rain while July is usually the driest month. Of course, this is an overnight trek, 3 days normally, so better have big backpack to fit all the stuff you need.

about the general area: The Island is a scenic site any time of year, and don't forget to take a fine little spree to West Lava Creek. Camping at Scott Trail is good fun, East Lake Resort and RV Parks is a good local campground, and a visit to Obsidian Falls will fill your
soul with wonderful feelings. Any time is a fine time at Scott Trail if you adore the outdoors. The beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Minnie Scott Spring; Chief Joseph Island is a delightful spot to check out. Lots of fun awaits you along this river. Marion Creek has
a nice whitewater paddling spot nearby; why not stop at close by Glacier Creek if you're here at Scott Trail. So much entertaining stuff to do in the Central Cascade Range, not enough time. A perfect place to visit near Scott Trail is McKenzie Pass. This site, the Central Cascade
Range, has so much outdoors amusing stuff. If you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Squaw Creek, and why not camp at Suttle Lake Resort and Marina if you're here at Scott Trail.
