Briefly about the general area: It's always tremendous to pop by Minnie Scott Spring, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Squaw Creek. Scott Trail is a fine place to visit for more than
one day, Camp Tamarack is a fine place to camp nearby, and Obsidian Falls is a nice local attraction. No way I can stop, cause I'm havin' a tremendous time here at Scott Trail. There's some flowing water nearby, West Lava Creek is a stream you can explore while here, and The
Island is a perfect place to stretch your legs a bit. Man, is there a heap of cool stuff to do in the Central Cascade Range. Places like Chief Joseph Island are great to have a look at. You simply have to love the Central Cascade Range. Suttle Lake Resort and Marina is a great
local campground, and Glacier Creek is in close proximity to Scott Trail and is always a delight to visit. McKenzie Pass is a nice site to spend some time at, and if you come at the right time of year, Marion Creek offers some glorious whitewater.
