There's not much difference in elevation along Rimrock Trail which means the conditions are about the same from start to finish. There are not too many trails in this region. Rimrock Trail is not that long but it's always pleasant to bring some emergency supplies, you never know what could happen. You should count on this hike taking about 3 hours, but of course some folks walk a bit slower and some a bit faster. Whitewater paddling is nice on White River; why not a little side tour to Deep Creek.
