of the Central Cascade Range are a very tremendous way to see these mountains. Rhododendron Ridge Trail is a long trip away from Hood River, but there's delightful natural splendor waiting here for you along it. There are hiking trails all over Oregon; Rhododendron Ridge Trail
in Clackamas County is one of them. For the duration of the days of summer here at Rhododendron Ridge Trail, high temperatures generally get into the 70's, and the overnight is fairly colder of course, generally in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's with temperatures
at Rhododendron Ridge Trail dipping down into the 30's during winter nights. This great outdoors hiking trail has a total elevation difference of 887 feet which is a lower than average number. Now this hiking trail is pretty long, so don't forget to pack enough supplies. This region
does get very dry sometimes, so do check for current fire restrictions before you go if you plan to bring a stove or make a camp fire.
Briefly about the general area: If you came to camp Frazier Fork Campground is a good location to do that, and do take a look at Jazz
Creek if you're here at Rhododendron Ridge Trail. This spot, the Central Cascade Range, has so much outdoors exciting things. If you come at the right time of year, Collawash River offers some great whitewater, and Jim Meadow is a great place. If you adore the outdoors, you'll
go for Rhododendron Ridge Trail. A short tour to Saddle Springs is always worthwhile, and Rhododendron Ridge Trail is near Graham Pass which is certainly worth taking a look at. Places like Bob Meadow are splendid to visit, and why not a little side spree to Ochre Creek. So much
exciting stuff to do in the Central Cascade Range, not enough time. There are some brilliant whitewater spots on Clackamas River. There's so much to do here at Rhododendron Ridge Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Frazier Turnaround Campground is a delightful site for that, and a trip to Rhododendron Ridge Trail wouldn't be complete without taking a look at Tarzan Springs.
