Unfortunately, there are no directions to the trailhead, no trail maps Says Lisa
This wilderness trail has a total elevation difference of 1,940 feet which is an average number. With its 4.8 miles of walking distance it's an average length wilderness hiking trail. The time needed for this backcountry hike is roughly 4.5 hours, but of course some people walk a bit slower and some a bit faster. Reservation Trail is a two ended wilderness trail with two trailheads which means you have the option of backpacking it one way if you have someone to pick you up at the other end. Reservation Trail is not that long but you should still bring some emergency supplies just in case something happens. Different parts of Reservation Trail are at very different elevations, so keep in mind that you may need to dress differently at different elevations. This region does get very dry sometimes, so do check for current fire restrictions before you go if you plan to bring a stove or make a camp fire.
