Trail through the summer highs are in the 70's with nighttime lows in the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's while the cold winter nights at Reservation Trail are in the 20's. All the water falling down from the sky makes Reservation Trail a wet site; December is
the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month of the year is July. Some parts of this hiking trail are much higher up than other parts of the hiking trail, so keep in mind that you may need to dress differently at different elevations. The time needed for this trek is
roughly 4.5 hours, but you never know stuff could go wrong and you could get stuck so be prepared for that. Sometimes this backcountry trail gets really dry, so make sure you check current conditions and fire restrictions with local forest authorities before you head out. Gotta

Box Canyon is near Reservation Trail and is without doubt a tremendous site to visit, and swing by Spring Creek it's a magnificent spot to stop at. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Reservation Trail has to offer, you can camp at Drift Campground, and nice water
scenery is available at Box Canyon Dam next to Reservation Trail. If you have a thing about the outdoors you'll have a thing about it here in the Central Cascade Range. Reservation Trail is a fine site to visit for more than one day, Street Creek Boating Site and Campground
is a fine site to camp nearby, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Metolius River. This is no spot for people who don’t like to have fun.
