  When was the last time you got out in the outdoors a bit? Pretty Lake Trail in Klamath County, Oregon is a magnificent site for getting out. Oregon is a good place for outdoors people. Going for a backcountry trek here in Oregon is always an enjoyable thing to do. During the long summer days at Pretty Lake Trail temperatures are mostly in the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 40's while Pretty Lake Trail overnight low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 20's.
    Being 6.8 miles long it's an average length wilderness trail. Every single Oregon hiking and backpacking trail is picturesque in its own way. Pretty Lake Trail is relatively isolated from the most adjacent town, and it's one of those sites where backpacking is fine. Please follow
all local rules about fires and camping. The wilderness trail stays roughly within the same elevation zone the whole time, so you get pretty much the same conditions along the whole wilderness trail. Pretty Lake Trail sees pretty high levels of rain; December is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest of the months is July. Keep in mind that this is a long hiking and backpacking trail, so make sure you bring plenty of supplies. Oregon has plenty of good hiking and backpacking trails, and Pretty Lake Trail in Klamath County is one of them. Pretty  
Lake Trail has a total elevation difference of 1,098 feet which is about average. The hiking trails of the Central Cascade Range are a very good way to see these peaks. There is only one trailhead, so in and out is the way to walk it normally. This hiking trail is a normal length hiking trail with an average amount of climbing distance which makes this a very tough backcountry trail for advanced trekkers looking for a glorious challenge. This is one of many backcountry trails in the surrounding neighborhood. The time needed for this backcountry walk is roughly 6 hours, but of course some folks walk a bit slower and some a bit faster. At parts of the year this area sees very little rain, so do check for current fire restrictions before you go if you plan to bring a stove or make a camp fire.

If you want a magnificent time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Central Cascade Range. Pretty Lake Trail is a splendid site to visit for more than one day, Lake Lucile Campground is a splendid site to camp nearby; Cold Spring is a good local attraction. Shelter Cove Resort is a wonderful campground nearby; Zims Point is in close proximity and always magnificent to have a look at.
The sights at Crater Lake National Park will blow your mind, and let's not forget Rhodod Creek which is a stream that you may stumble upon while here. Wharf Creek is one of the streams close by that might be worth visiting.
