Pretty Lake Trail has only one trailhead, so in and out is the way to trek it normally. This is one of many hiking and

Pretty Lake Trail stays roughly within the same elevation zone the whole time, so you get pretty much the same conditions along the whole backcountry trail. The trails of the Central Cascade Range are a really perfect way to spend quality time in the great outdoors. Summertime highs at Pretty Lake Trail generally tend to be in the 80's while night lows are mostly in the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's, and night lows at Pretty Lake Trail during the winter mostly drop into the 20's. Pretty Lake Trail is a wet site that gets lots of precipitation; the wettest month of the year is typically December, that's the one that rains the most; July on the other hand is the driest. Why not stop by close by Wharf Creek since you're here at Pretty Lake Trail, and don't leave Pretty Lake Trail without first paying a visit to Cold Spring.
