Briefly about the general area: If you come at the right time of year, Sandy River offers some great whitewater, and Mount Hood Village is a good campground nearby. Yep, outdoors enjoyable
things truly is abundant here in the Central Cascade Range. Take a little trip to Welches Creek if you're here at Plaza Trail, and glide down the rapids of Zigzag River in a kayak. Lymp Creek is in the vicinity of Plaza Trail and is always a joy to stop at, and you can stay the night at Bighorn Campground.
