Summertime highs at Pinnacle Ridge Trail regularly tend to be in the 70's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 50's. Through the winter the highs are usually in the 40's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here
    at Pinnacle Ridge Trail. This vicinity does get very dry sometimes, so do check for current fire restrictions before you go if you plan to bring a stove or make a camp fire. This is a long trail, so do pack enough food to last the whole trip. There are so many tremendous backpacking
trails for hiking in Oregon; Pinnacle Ridge Trail in Hood River County is one of them. There is only one trailhead, so you'll be backcountry hiking it in and back out. This is a vicinity covered with lots of backcountry trails. This wilderness trail has a total elevation difference of 2,515 feet, and that is higher than average. Please follow all local rules about fires and camping. Every Oregon backpacking trail has its own unique loveliness. Pinnacle Ridge Trail goes through some very different elevations, and that means that some parts of the trail could  
be very different from other parts of it. Backcountry trekking in Oregon is such a nice thing to do. Pinnacle Ridge Trail usually gets a great deal of precipitation; most of the rain falls all through December while July is generally the driest month. With its 6.2 miles of walking distance it's an average length trail. The length of Pinnacle Ridge Trail is about average having an average number of uphill miles which makes this a very tough backcountry trail for advanced backcountry hikers looking for a great challenge. Hiking and backpacking trails like this one here in the Central Cascade Range are the best way to enjoy these hills. This hike shouldn't take more than 5.5 hours, but you never know stuff could go wrong and you could get stuck so be prepared for that.

Yeah, come up here to the Central Cascade Range for a fine time. Do set aside some time for Wy'east Basin while you're here at Pinnacle Ridge Trail, and in case you don’t mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Hood River - West Fork. Be careful coming to the Central Cascade Range, you might not ever wanna go home again.

Why not camp at Reservoir Campground since you're here at Pinnacle Ridge Trail; if you came for an overnight stay Dufur Valley Farms is a splendid place to camp. A tour to Pinnacle Ridge Trail wouldn't be complete without taking a look at Wallalute Falls, and you have to undeniably dedicate some time to Elk Cove while you're here at Pinnacle Ridge Trail. This is a popular spot for people from Hood River, and getting to Compass Creek from Pinnacle Ridge Trail is painless.
Some of the water nearby flows, like Pinnacle Creek, and a fine place for whitewater paddling is Hood River - Lake Branch.
