Pinnacle Ridge Trail is glorious enough to spend more than a day at, Reservoir Campground is a glorious local campground, and in the event that you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Hood River - Lake Branch. Whohoo, so many fun
things in one place! The Central Cascade Range rocks! There's some flowing water nearby, Pinnacle Creek is a stream you can stop at while you're here, and everybody loves Wy'east Basin.
Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. If you're going to Pinnacle Ridge Trail from
Hood River, you won't be the only one, and whitewater paddling is great on Hood River - West Fork. A tour to Elk Cove invigorates the spirit, and camping at Dufur Valley Farms is always a fine experience. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors amusing things the Central
Cascade Range has to offer.
This is such a great river. Put some time aside to spend at Wallalute Falls while you're here at Pinnacle Ridge Trail, and let's not forget Compass Creek which is a stream that you may run into while you're here.
