Oregon hiking trails - Pine Creek Trail, Blue Mountains, Grant County

   
  Because Pine Creek Trail is very far from civilization, many people like to backcountry hike here to be close to the great outdoors. Every wilderness trail in Oregon is worth backpacking. Great outdoors trails for backpacking, and backpacking can be found all over Oregon; Pine Creek Trail is one of them, and it's in Grant County. The total elevation difference for this hiking trail is 1,148 feet which is about average. Being 7.8 miles long it's a mid length hike. At Pine Creek Trail throughout the months of summer highs are in the 80's, and throughout
    the night it cools down to the 40's. During the winter highs are in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Pine Creek Trail are in the 20's. There's not much difference in elevation along Pine Creek Trail which means the conditions are about the same from start to finish. These
wilderness trails here in the Blue Mountains are the best way to enjoy these hills. This is a long trail, so make sure you bring plenty of supplies. This trek shouldn't take more than 7 hours, but of course some people walk a bit slower and some a bit faster. This is one of many wilderness trails in the surrounding neighborhood. If you happen to be in Oregon, why not go backpacking, it is so much fun. The length of Pine Creek Trail is about average having an average number of uphill miles which makes this a very tough wilderness trail for advanced walkers  
looking for a nice challenge. Please follow all local rules about fires and camping. This hiking trail has only one trailhead, so you're looking at an in and out hike. Oregon is a glorious outdoors state. Time to get out, and breathe some fresh air, and Pine Creek Trail in Grant County, Oregon is a tremendous pick. This trail sometimes gets very dry, so don’t forget to check for any current fire restrictions before you go. Pine Creek Trail is mostly a reasonably waterless spot; May is the month that gets the most rain, and July meanwhile is the driest month.

It's always tremendous to visit Wildcat Spring, and a perfect site to camp here at Pine Creek Trail is Indian Springs Campground. But wait, there's more cool stuff to do in the Blue Mountains. Do set aside some time for Buckhorn Meadow if you're here at Pine Creek Trail, and swing by East Fork Indian Creek it's a wonderful place to stop at. There's a splendid forest in close proximity to Pine Creek Trail called Malheur National Forest, and why not camp at Ray Cole Campground while you're here at Pine Creek Trail.
