Oregon hiking trails - Pass Creek Trail, Central Cascade Range, Douglas County

   
  There are hiking trails all over Oregon; one of those is Pass Creek Trail in Douglas County. You'll need to go far from Eugene-Springfield to get to Pass Creek Trail, but It's always cool to backcountry hike here. Ok, you've been cooped up too long, time to get out in nature a bit, and if you happen to be in Douglas County of Oregon, Pass Creek Trail is a splendid local backpacking trail for doing a bit of leg stretching. The time needed for this hike is roughly 7 hours, but you never know stuff could go wrong and you could get stuck so be prepared for
    that. Pass Creek Trail is a normal length backcountry trail with an average amount of climbing distance which makes this wilderness hiking trail brilliant for hard core backpackers looking for adventure. Pass Creek Trail is 7.8 miles long it's a mid length hike. Sometimes this
backpacking and hiking trail gets really dry, so make sure you check current conditions and fire restrictions with local forest authorities before you head out. Pass Creek Trail is a two ended wilderness trail with two trailheads, so backcountry hiking it one way is an option if you can arrange for a ride back. Keep in mind that this is a long backpacking and hiking trail, so don't forget to pack enough supplies. In Oregon you never run out of outdoors fun. This is a neighborhood covered with lots of wilderness hiking trails. Don’t forget to check for  
any current restrictions or closures before you go. Hiking trails like this one here in the Central Cascade Range are the best way to enjoy these summits. Every single Oregon hiking trail is well worth a backcountry hike. Some parts of this wilderness trail are much higher up than other parts of the wilderness trail, so keep in mind that you may need to dress differently at different elevations. High temperatures at Pass Creek Trail through the long summer days are in the 70's, and during the night it cools down to the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's; night lows at Pass Creek Trail during the wintertime regularly sink into the 30's. If you happen to be in Oregon, why not go trekking, it is an excellent way to spend some time. This wilderness trail has a total elevation difference of 1,839 feet which is about average. Pass Creek Trail gets a lot of water; during the month of November you get the most rain around here, and the driest of the months is July.

You'll need more than a day to discover everything Pass Creek Trail has to offer, you can camp at Smith Springs Campground; East Pass Creek is in close proximity to Pass Creek Trail and is always a pleasure to have a look at.
There's so much to do here at Pass Creek Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Happy Eagle Lodge and RV's is a splendid site for that, and Huckleberry Spring is an inspiring site to stop at while you're here. Canyon Creek has a tremendous whitewater paddling spot close by, and some nearby water includes Call Creek. A short visit to Mellow Moon Spring is always worthwhile, and paddling on Sharps Creek is so much fun.
