Little Zigzag Canyon is a great place to go to close to Paradise Park Trail. Swim Creek is one of the streams close by that might be worth stopping at, and there's whitewater on Sandy River for all you adrenaline junkies.
You'll beyond doubt wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool things in the Central Cascade Range. A pleasant place to camp here at Paradise Park Trail is Twin Bridges Campground, and get your heart beating on the wonderful whitewater of Zigzag River. So many enjoyable things to do at Paradise Park Trail, so little time. Rushing Water Creek is a stream that you may run into while you're here, and Paradise Park Trail is a spot with many visitors from Hood River. Mount Hood National Forest is a good local forest, and camping at Barlow Campground is always a great experience.
That right there is loads of amusing stuff already but it goes on, the Central Cascade Range has it all. A visit to Wind Creek Basin rejuvenates the spirit; Yocum Falls is a good local attraction. Everybody loves Summit Meadows, and Ramona Falls is always fun to check out.
