is a really magnificent place to spend some time. This is one of a very small number of wilderness trails in this vicinity. You should count on this walk taking about 4 hours, but of course some folks walk a bit slower and some a bit faster. Sometimes this wilderness hiking trail

And if that's not sufficient there's a lot more amusing things to do in the Coast Ranges. There's whitewater on Smith River - North Fork for all you thrill seekers, and Packsaddle Trail is not far at all from Crescent City North. Take a little spree to Sankey Creek since you're
here at Packsaddle Trail. This river is so wonderful. Packsaddle Trail is a magnificent site to camp, Salmon Harbor Resort is a magnificent site; getting to Bridge Creek from Packsaddle Trail is trouble-free.
