Stony Cove is pretty near Packard Creek Trail. You have to positively dedicate some time to Sand Prairie while you're here at Packard Creek Trail, and don't forget to take a brilliant little trip to Windfall Creek. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Central Cascade Range.
While you're here at Packard Creek Trail it's a good idea to stop at Little Pine Openings, and it's a pleasant idea to stop by Gold Creek. Errin Campground is a delightful campground nearby; in case you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Willamette River - Middle Fork.
