time. Old Desolation Driveway Trail gets very little rainfall; most of the rain falls all through November, and the driest month is July. This hiking trail is a normal length hiking trail having an average number of uphill miles which makes it an outstanding hiking and backpacking
trail for experienced walkers in good shape. There are so many hiking and backpacking trails in this vicinity. The hiking trails of the Blue Mountains are the best way to enjoy these hills. During the summertime months at Old Desolation Driveway Trail temperatures are generally
in the 80's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 30's. All through the wintertime this spot gets highs in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Old Desolation Driveway Trail. Being 6.2 miles long it's a mid length backcountry walk. The time needed
for this hike is roughly 5.5 hours, but you never know stuff could go wrong and you could get stuck so be prepared for that.

So much amusing stuff in the Blue Mountains, just fantastic. Oriental Creek is a good local stream, and a delightful
place to camp here at Old Desolation Driveway Trail is Lehman Hot Springs. Raspberry Creek is a great place to explore; Old Desolation Driveway Trail is great enough to spend more than a day at, Trough Creek Campground is a great local campground.
Whitewater paddling is not
for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend John Day River - North Fork, and a magnificent site like Oriental Basin here at Old Desolation Driveway Trail is too splendid to miss. Kelsay Spring is an inspiring place to explore during your stay; Kelsay Meadows is a nice place here at Old Desolation Driveway Trail.
