Creek, and why not camp at Lookout Springs Campground while you're here at Old Baldy Trail. So many fun things to do here in the Central Cascade Range, too nice to be true. If you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Roaring River, and Shining Lake Campground is a great local campground. Sandy River has a glorious whitewater paddling spot close by.
