whole time which means the conditions are about the same from start to finish. North and South Trail is on the short side with an average amount of climbing distance which makes it an excellent trail for the average person looking for an excellent adventure. And keep in mind that

North and South Trail sees pretty high levels of rainfall; November is when you get the most rain here while July is usually the driest month. This backcountry hike shouldn't take more than 2 hours, but you never know stuff could go wrong and you could get stuck so be prepared for that. in the 40's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's, and nighttime lows in the 30's for North and South Trail. The hiking trails of the Southern Cascade Range are a very fine way to see these peaks. There are backcountry hiking trails all over Oregon; North and South Trail
is one of them, and it's in Douglas County. With its 2.2 miles of walking distance it's a shorter type walk. North and South Trail is a long journey away from Medford, but trekking is such an enjoyable thing to do, and this is a glorious site to do that. When was the last time
you got out in the wilderness a bit? North and South Trail in Douglas County, Oregon is just the site. Even though this is not a very long backcountry trail you should still bring some emergency supplies just in case something happens.
Briefly about the general area:
If you came to camp Huckleberry Lake Campground is a pleasant place to do that. Camping at Neal Springs Campground is always a tremendous experience; if you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Jackson Creek. Why not stop at nearby Serviceberry
Creek since you're here at North and South Trail, and you're sure to bump into some smiling folks from Medford here. These mountains rock, just explore all the amusing things to do in the Southern Cascade Range. If you're here at North and South Trail, you could go to Donegan Creek, and Jackson Creek is a wonderful whitewater spot nearby.
