Oregon hiking trails - Mud Lake Trail, Central Cascade Range, Lane County

Ok, you've been cooped up too long, time to get out in the fresh air a bit, and Mud Lake Trail in Lane County, Oregon is a really perfect site to spend some time. Mud Lake Trail is located a relatively long drive from Bend, but it is a cool site to backcountry hike. And keep in mind that there could be temporary safety restrictions in site. This hiking and backpacking trail sometimes gets very dry, so make sure you check current conditions and fire restrictions
    with local forest authorities before you head out. The total elevation difference for this hiking trail is 1,637 feet which is about average. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Mud Lake Trail. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 40's. All through the wintertime this
place gets highs in the 30's, and nighttime lows at Mud Lake Trail all through the wintertime ordinarily plunge into the 20's. With its 19 miles of walking distance; it's a long backpacking trail. A great deal of rainfall falls at Mud Lake Trail; the month with most of the rain is December, and July is the month with the least moisture. Keep in mind that this is a long hiking and backpacking trail, so don't forget to pack enough supplies. This backpacking trail goes through some very different elevations which of course means you need to be prepared for  
different conditions on different parts of the backpacking trail. Backcountry trekking in Oregon is something that is always fun to do. This is a region covered with lots of wilderness hiking trails. With so many outdoors activities available in Oregon you'll never get bored. The lovely hiking trails of the Central Cascade Range are the best way to enjoy these summits. This hiking trail has only one trailhead, so you're looking at an in and out trek. This backcountry walk should take you about 3 days, so better have big backpack to fit all the stuff you need. Tremendous backcountry hiking trails in Oregon are in abundance; Mud Lake Trail in Lane County is one of them. Mud Lake Trail is a hiking trail of wonderful length with an average amount of climbing distance which makes this wilderness hiking trail good for hard core backpackers looking for adventure.

Briefly about the general area:
You just can't envision the amount of outdoors cool stuff the Central Cascade Range has to offer. Deschutes River is a wonderful whitewater spot close to Mud Lake Trail. Quinn Creek is a stream that you may stumble upon while here, and if you want a little side spree, try Corral Draw.
At this river you will always have a good time. A short trip to Wright Spring is always worthwhile, and a good spot for whitewater paddling is Horse Creek. Having a magnificent time at Mud Lake Trail is painless. There's so much to do here at Mud Lake Trail that you need to camp here for a while, East Lake Resort and RV Parks is a fine spot for that, and Elk Lake Springs is an inspiring site to check out during your stay. Whohoo, so much fun stuff in one place! The Central Cascade Range rules! A good spot like Reserve Meadow here at Mud Lake Trail is too good to miss; if you came to camp Upper Campground is a great place to do that.
You should without doubt dedicate some time to Mink Lake Basin while you're here at Mud Lake Trail; of course Sink Creek flows through this neighborhood.
