    great outdoors trails in the surrounding neighborhood. During the summertime highs here at Mountain Meadows Trail reach the 80's, and the nighttime is somewhat colder of course, frequently in the 40's. All through the winter this site gets highs in the 40's, and winter nights come
with lows in the 20's to Mountain Meadows Trail. The total elevation difference for this wilderness hiking trail is 1,752 feet which is about average. Mountain Meadows Trail sees pretty high levels of rainfall; of all the months in a year November is the one with the most rain; the driest month of the year is July. Mountain Meadows Trail is a mid-length hiking trail with an average amount of climbing distance which makes it a splendid great outdoors trail for the average person looking for a splendid adventure. Mountain Meadows Trail being so far away  
from the most adjacent town, it is one of many fine backcountry hiking trails in this neighborhood. At parts of the year this vicinity sees very little rain, so do check for current fire restrictions before you go if you plan to bring a stove or make a camp fire. The wonderful hiking trails of the Central Cascade Range are a really magnificent way to spend quality time in the outdoors. Different parts of this great outdoors trail are at very different elevations, and that means that some parts of the great outdoors trail could be very different from other parts of it. Mountain Meadows Trail is a two ended wilderness hiking trail with two trailheads which means you have the option of backcountry backpacking it one way if you have someone to pick you up at the other end. Even though this is not a very long trail you should still bring some emergency supplies just in case something happens. With its 4.4 miles of walking distance it's a mid length trek.

In case you don’t mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Copland Creek; some of the water close by flows, like Thorn Creek. Mill Creek is a good local stream; a tour to Bridge Prairie rejuvenates the soul. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Central Cascade Range. If you came for an overnight stay Weeping Rock Campground is a great place to camp, and Umpqua Hot Springs is an inspiring location to stop by while you're here.
