Trails like this one here in the Central Cascade Range are a really nice way to spend quality time in the fresh air. With its 4.4 miles of walking distance it's a mid length trek. This backcountry walk shouldn't take more than 3.5 hours, but of course some folks walk a bit slower and some a bit faster. And keep in mind that there could be temporary safety restrictions in site.
    Mountain Meadows Trail is a very long way away from modern life, and it is a great escape from the settlement. We all need to get out in the great outdoors once in a while, and Mountain Meadows Trail in Douglas County, Oregon is just the site. This is a two-ended wilderness hiking
trail with two trailheads which means you have the option of backcountry hiking it one way if you have someone to pick you up at the other end. Mountain Meadows Trail has a total elevation difference of 1,752 feet which is an average number. This is just one of a large number of hiking trails in this area. before you go. Summertime at Mountain Meadows Trail comes with high temperatures in the 80's. Summer night lows fall down to the 40's. Through the winter highs are in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Mountain Meadows Trail. Some parts of Mountain Meadows Trail are much higher up than other parts of the backpacking trail, so keep in mind that you may need to dress differently at different elevations. Mountain Meadows Trail sees pretty high levels of rainfall; through the month of November you get the most rain around here, and the driest month is July. This wilderness trail is not that long but it's always perfect to bring some emergency supplies, you never know what could happen. This backpacking trail is a normal length backpacking trail having an average number of uphill miles which makes this hiking trail delightful for the average backcountry trekker looking for an enjoyable adventure.

And that's not all you can do here in the Central Cascade Range. Thorn Creek is a great local stream, and a wonderful place to camp here at Mountain Meadows Trail is Camas Creek Campground. This is such a great river. Bridge Prairie is a fine location It's always great to explore Umpqua Hot Springs.
Whohoo, so much fun stuff in one place! Mountain Meadows Trail rocks!. Take a side spree to Mill Creek, and there's whitewater on Copland Creek for all you adrenaline people. Places like Mountain Meadows are great to go to, and camping is available at Weeping Rock Campground.
