Summer brings highs in the 60's to Moss Creek Trail. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 40's.     to the 10's. You should count on this backcountry trek taking about 6.5 hours, but you never know stuff could go wrong and you could get stuck so be prepared for that. The striking hiking trails of the Southern Cascade Range are the best way to enjoy these highlands. Moss Creek
Trail is a normal length hiking trail with an average amount of climbing distance which makes this a very tough backcountry trail for advanced backcountry walkers looking for a great challenge. This great outdoors hiking trail has a total elevation difference of 1,926 feet, and that is about average. Oregon is a glorious location for hikers. Hitting the hiking trails is always an amusing thing to do, and Moss Creek Trail in Klamath County, Oregon is such a nice location. With its 7.6 miles of walking distance it's an average length great outdoors trail.  
Here in the nice state of Oregon trekking never gets boring. This is one of many backcountry trails in the surrounding neighborhood. And keep in mind that there could be temporary safety restrictions in place. Moss Creek Trail is quite long, so do pack enough food to last the whole trip. Some parts of this great outdoors trail are much higher up than other parts of the great outdoors trail, so keep in mind that you may need to dress differently at different elevations. At parts of the year this vicinity sees very little rain, so do check for current fire restrictions before you go if you plan to bring a stove or make a camp fire. This is a one trailhead great outdoors hiking trail, so you'll be backpacking it in and back out. All the water falling down from the sky makes Moss Creek Trail a wet place; most of the snow falls through December, and July is when it's the driest.

Get yourself into a kayak and hit Klamath River, and why not a little side tour to Moss Creek. Yep, outdoors cool stuff truly is abundant here in the Southern Cascade Range. If you came for an overnight stay White Pine Campground is a good spot to camp, and while you're here, you might as well take a look at South Pass.
Lake Of The woods Resort is a great campground here, and don't leave Moss Creek Trail without first paying a visit to Wampler Spring.
