December, and July is when it's the driest.
Briefly about the general area: Get yourself into a kayak and hit Klamath River, and why not a little side tour to Moss Creek. Yep, outdoors cool stuff truly is abundant here in the Southern Cascade Range. If you came for an
overnight stay White Pine Campground is a good spot to camp, and while you're here, you might as well take a look at South Pass. Lake Of The woods Resort is a great campground here, and don't leave Moss Creek Trail without first paying a visit to Wampler Spring.
