Moss Creek Trail is quite long, so don't forget to pack enough supplies. Moss Creek Trail goes through some very different elevations, so

go. Throughout the summertime months at Moss Creek Trail highs are ordinarily in the 60's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 40's. Throughout the wintertime highs are frequently in the 30's with temperatures at Moss Creek Trail dipping down into the 10's through winter nights. The wilderness trails of the Southern Cascade Range are the best way to enjoy these summits. Every hiking and backpacking trail in Oregon has its own unique beauty. Being 7.6 miles long it's a mid length trek. This is a one trailhead backcountry hiking trail, so  
you'll be backpacking it in and back out. This is an area covered with lots of hiking trails. You should count on this backcountry walk taking about 6.5 hours, but of course some folks walk a bit slower and some a bit faster. This backcountry hiking trail has a total elevation difference of 1,926 feet which is about average. If you happen to be in Oregon, why not go hiking, it never gets boring. The length of Moss Creek Trail is about average having an average number of uphill miles which makes this a very tough hiking trail for advanced walkers looking for a brilliant challenge. Moss Creek Trail gets a large amount of water; December is the wettest month with most snow, and the driest of the months is July.

There's so much to do here at Moss Creek Trail that you need to camp here for a while, White Pine Campground is a pleasant place for that. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Moss Creek Trail has to offer, you can camp at Rocky Point Resort. Whitewater paddling is good on Klamath River, and Moss Creek is one of the streams nearby that might be worth visiting.
If you want a great time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Southern Cascade Range. South Pass is a magnificent place to spend some time at, and the beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Wampler Spring.
