Moraine Lake Trail is a great outdoors hiking trail quite far from Bend, but backcountry trekking along this great outdoors hiking trail is very enjoyable. Moraine Lake Trail gets a lot of water; December is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest of the months is July. Alright, enough of spending all this time inside a building, time to get out, and Moraine Lake Trail in
    Deschutes County, Oregon is a fine place for getting out. This is a wilderness hiking trail that is quite long, so do pack enough food to last the whole trip. The time needed for this trek is roughly 9 hours, but you never know stuff could go wrong and you could get stuck so be
prepared for that. Trails for trekking, and backpacking can be found all over Oregon; one of them being Moraine Lake Trail in Deschutes County. Throughout the summertime highs here at Moraine Lake Trail reach the 80's, and all through the night it cools down to the 40's. High temperatures all through the winter are normally in the 30's with temperatures at Moraine Lake Trail dipping down into the 20's all through winter nights. There are so many wilderness trails in this vicinity. Moraine Lake Trail is a one trailhead backpacking trail, so you'll be backcountry  
backpacking it in and back out. There's not much difference in elevation along Moraine Lake Trail, so you won’t have to worry about different climate zones along your hike. Each great outdoors hiking trail in Oregon has its own character. The backcountry trails of the Central Cascade Range are a glorious way to explore these mountains. This backpacking trail has a total elevation difference of 1,313 feet which is about average. Please follow all local rules about fires and camping. Moraine Lake Trail is 10 miles long; it's longer than many hiking and backpacking trails. The length of this backcountry trail is on the longer side with an average amount of climbing distance which makes it a fine wilderness trail for experienced walkers in splendid shape. Sometimes this wilderness hiking trail gets really dry, so don’t forget to check for any current fire restrictions before you go.

But wait, there's more exciting stuff to do in the Central Cascade Range. Squaw Creek has a fine whitewater paddling spot close by; do set aside some time for Wickiup Plain while you're here at Moraine Lake Trail. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Central Cascade Range.
If you're here at Moraine Lake Trail, you could check out Hell Creek, and a trip to Moraine Lake Trail wouldn't be complete without taking a look at Elk Lake Springs. Camping at Moraine Lake Trail is glorious fun, East Lake Resort and RV Parks is a glorious local campground; paddling on Deschutes River is so much fun. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun things at Moraine Lake Trail. A short tour to Blacktail Spring is always worthwhile, and a quick tour to Tyee Creek is certainly a magnificent idea.
This river is a great place to visit. Upper Campground is a wonderful campground here, and since you're here at Moraine Lake Trail it's a good idea to check out Quinn Meadows.
