There is only one trailhead, so you're looking at an in and out hike. The time needed for this walk is roughly 9 hours, but you never know stuff could go wrong and you could get stuck so be prepared for that. This vicinity does get very dry sometimes, so don’t forget to check for any current fire restrictions before you go. This is a long wilderness trail, so do pack enough food to last the whole trip. With its 10 miles of walking distance; it's considered a longer walk. The total elevation difference for this wilderness hiking trail is 1,313 feet, and that is about average.
