reach the 80's, and the night is somewhat chillier of course, generally in the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's, and night lows through the wintertime for Mirror Lake Trail tend to be in the 20's. Mirror Lake Trail is quite long, so don't forget to pack enough
supplies. The total elevation difference for this hiking and backpacking trail is 605 feet which is lower than average. All the water falling down from the sky makes Mirror Lake Trail a wet place; the month of December is the wettest with most of the rain, and July is the month
with the least moisture. The length of this wilderness trail is about average having an average number of uphill miles which makes it a nice backcountry trail for experienced backcountry hikers in fine shape.
Briefly about the general area: Whitewater paddling is tremendous
on Squaw Creek; Blacktail Spring is a stunning place to take a look at while you're at Mirror Lake Trail. I don't want to stop, cause I'm havin' a perfect time here at Mirror Lake Trail. If you came for an overnight stay Upper Campground is a great place to camp. Yeah, come
up here to the Central Cascade Range for a great time. Looking for some flowing water? Try Tyee Creek, and Quinn Meadows is a lovely place any time of year. Getting to Sink Creek from Mirror Lake Trail is trouble-free; a short tour to Elk Lake Springs is always worthwhile. Why
not camp at East Lake Resort and RV Parks while you're here at Mirror Lake Trail; a pleasant journey to Wickiup Plain is a perfect way to spend an afternoon.
