There are many great hiking trails in Oregon; Maxwell Trail is one of them, and it's in Linn County. Backcountry hiking here in Oregon is so much fun. The warmest time of the year at Maxwell Trail comes with high temperatures in the 70's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 50's. The  
winter comes with highs in the 40's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Maxwell Trail drop into the 30's. Maxwell Trail is a wet site that gets lots of rain; December is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month of the year is July. This is a hiking and backpacking trail that is quite long, so do pack enough food to last the whole trip. The total elevation difference for this backpacking and hiking trail is 2,511 feet which is a higher than average number. You should count on this hike taking about 7.5 hours, but you never know stuff could go wrong and you could get stuck so be prepared for that. Sometimes this hiking and backpacking trail gets really dry, so don’t forget to check for any current fire restrictions before you go. Maxwell Trail is 8.4 miles long it's a mid length backcountry trek.

Get dripping wet paddling on Marion Creek, and a brilliant location to camp here at Maxwell Trail is Tombstone Prairie Campground. This place, Maxwell Trail, it just has so much outdoors entertaining stuff. Green Creek is a magnificent site to take a look at, and camping is available at Country Star Recreational Vehicle Park.
