  Trekking in Oregon is so much fun. Oregon has so much to offer the wilderness lovers. Hey, time for a backcountry trek don’t you think? Maxwell Trail in Linn County, Oregon is just what you need. Each one of the many backpacking and hiking trails of Oregon is worth backcountry hiking. This is a long backpacking and hiking trail, so do pack enough food to last the whole trip. There is only one trailhead, so you're looking at an in and out backcountry walk. Sometimes this backpacking and hiking trail gets really dry, so don’t forget to check for any current
    fire restrictions before you go. Different parts of Maxwell Trail are at very different elevations, so keep in mind that you may need to dress differently at different elevations. This backpacking trail is a mid length backpacking trail having an average number of uphill miles
which makes it a brilliant great outdoors trail for experienced hikers in great shape. Being 8.4 miles long it's a mid length backcountry hike. This walk shouldn't take more than 7.5 hours, but you never know stuff could go wrong and you could get stuck so be prepared for that. This is just one of a large number of great outdoors trails in this area. Maxwell Trail is a wet place that gets lots of rainfall; the month with most of the rain is December, and the driest month is July. The gorgeous backpacking trails of the Central Cascade Range are a really  
glorious way to spend quality time in the wilderness. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Maxwell Trail, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. Through the winter highs are in the 40's with temperatures at Maxwell Trail dipping down into the 30's during winter nights. Please follow all local rules about fires and camping. Hiking and backpacking trails are good and plentiful in Oregon; one of them being Maxwell Trail in Linn County. Maxwell Trail has a total elevation difference of 2,511 feet which is a higher than average number. A long trip parts Bend from Maxwell Trail, but trekking along this hiking and backpacking trail is very enjoyable.

Yeah, come up here to the Central Cascade Range for a pleasant time. A quick spree to Green Creek close to Maxwell Trail is a glorious idea, and don’t forget to stop at Duffy Prairie while you're here at Maxwell Trail. There's whitewater on Marion Creek for all you thrill seekers, and a spree to Maxwell Trail wouldn't be complete without taking a look at Big Spring.
This river is so good. You can run the rapids of Santiam River - North near Maxwell Trail, and it's a magnificent idea to pop by Swede Creek. Maxwell Trail is great enough to spend more than a day at, Tombstone Prairie Campground is a great local campground.
