This is a hiking and backpacking trail that is quite long, so don't forget to pack enough supplies. For the duration of the summertime months, highs  
regularly are in the 80's at Martin Creek Trail. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 30's. For the duration of the wintertime the highs are generally in the 30's while Martin Creek Trail overnight low temperatures all through the wintertime are in the 10's. A pleasant place for whitewater paddling near Martin Creek Trail is John Day River - North Fork; you should absolutely dedicate some time to Moon Meadow since you're here at Martin Creek Trail. You'll really wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the amusing things in the Blue Mountains. There's so much to do here at Martin Creek Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Camp Elkanah Campground is a great place for that; in the event that you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Grande Ronde River.
A journey to Wagner Gulch is always fun. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Martin Creek Trail has to offer, you can camp at Time and a Half Campground.
