Oregon hiking trails - Maidu Lake Way, Central Cascade Range, Douglas County

   
  There are many great hiking and backpacking trails in Oregon, and Maidu Lake Way is one of them, and it's in Douglas County. Maidu Lake Way is not very next to Klamath Falls at all, but it is an enjoyable site to walk. As long as you like the great outdoors you will like Oregon. This area does get very dry sometimes, so make sure you check current conditions and fire restrictions with local forest authorities before you head out. Please follow all local rules about fires and camping. The length of Maidu Lake Way is on the longer side with an average amount
    of climbing distance which makes it a perfect wilderness trail for experienced hikers in perfect shape. All the water falling down from the sky makes Maidu Lake Way a wet spot; of all the months in a year November is the one with the most rain, and the driest month is July. Summertime
brings highs in the 80's to Maidu Lake Way with night lows in the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 40's, and night lows at Maidu Lake Way through the wintertime regularly plunge into the 20's. The total elevation difference for Maidu Lake Way is 2,026 feet which is about average. Now this hiking trail is pretty long, so make sure you bring plenty of supplies. Backcountry trekking here in Oregon is always an enjoyable thing to do. Every Oregon hiking and backpacking trail is worth hiking. Of course, this is an overnight backcountry  
trek, 2.5 days normally, so make sure you've got all your overnight gear packed. Some parts of this hiking and backpacking trail are much higher up than other parts of the hiking and backpacking trail, and that means that some parts of the hiking and backpacking trail could be very different from other parts of it. Hitting the backcountry trails is always an enjoyable thing to do, and if you happen to be in Douglas County of Oregon, Maidu Lake Way is a brilliant local backcountry trail for doing a bit of leg stretching. The wilderness hiking trails of the Central Cascade Range are a very good way to see these highlands. This is one of many wilderness trails in the surrounding neighborhood. Maidu Lake Way is 16.4 miles long; it's longer than many hiking and backpacking trails. There is only one trailhead, so in and out is the way to backcountry walk it normally.

And that's not all you can do here at Maidu Lake Way. Windigo Pass is a great spot to look at, and Crystal Springs is an inspiring place to have a look at while you're here.
Be careful coming to the Central Cascade Range, you might not ever wanna go back home again. The beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Fire Spring, and don't miss out on a visit to Crater Lake National Park since you're here. Yeah, come up here to the Central Cascade Range for a splendid time. Warrior Creek is a lovely stream that is worth going to; Slim Prairie is a glorious place here at Maidu Lake Way.
Visit Tolo Creek since you're here at Maidu Lake Way. There's so much to do here at Maidu Lake Way that you need to camp here for a while, Lake Lucile Campground is a brilliant location for that.
