This backcountry trek shouldn't take more than 9 hours, but of course some people walk a bit slower and some a bit faster. Being 10.4 miles long; it's considered a longer backcountry walk. This hiking trail has a total elevation difference of 3,274 feet which is a higher than average
number. Trekking here in the Central Cascade Range is a really perfect way to spend quality time in the fresh air. Please follow all local rules about fires and camping. Lots of rain falls at Maiden Peak Trail; during December this vicinity sees the most rain while July is ordinarily
the driest month.
Briefly about the general area: A great spot in the vicinity of Maiden Peak Trail is Maiden Peak Saddle, and there's some flowing water nearby, Ray Creek is a stream you can pop by while here. Maiden Peak Trail is a good site to visit for more than
one day, North Wickiup Campground is a good site to camp nearby, and a pleasant visit to Pothole Meadow is a delightful way to spend an afternoon. Having a delightful time in the Central Cascade Range is trouble-free. You have to stop by Breezy Point when you're here at Maiden
Peak Trail, and there are some pleasant whitewater spots on Hills Creek. Maiden Peak Trail beyond doubt is in the middle of a pretty outdoors paradise. Skyline Creek is one of the streams nearby that might be worth checking out. Shelter Cove Resort is a fine campground nearby, and since you're here at Maiden Peak Trail it's a brilliant idea to stop by Riggs Meadow.
