Lake Trail are at very different elevations, so keep in mind that you may need to dress differently at different elevations. Backcountry hiking trails are wonderful and plentiful in Oregon; one of them being Lost Lake Trail in Grant County. Lost Lake Trail is a location that is
quite dried up frequently; the month of November is the wettest with most of the rain while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. With its 9.4 miles of walking distance; it's considered a longer walk. While visiting this area in Oregon it's a wonderful idea
to go backcountry hiking too. Lost Lake Trail is very far from the nearest sizeable settlement, and it is an excellent hiking trail. During the summertime months at Lost Lake Trail temperatures are ordinarily in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 30's. The cold
days of the winter come with highs in the 30's; after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Lost Lake Trail sink into the 10's.
Briefly about the general area: Chrome Spring is a fine local attraction, and everyone loves McCalpine Meadow. West Fork of North
Fork Desolation Creek is a wonderful local stream, and Lost Meadow is right here at Lost Lake Trail. Olive Lake Dam is worth stopping at if you're here, and Lost Lake Trail is brilliant enough to spend more than a day at, Corrigal Spring Campground is a brilliant local campground.
You definitely should love Lost Lake Trail. Looking for some flowing water? Try East Fork of North Fork Desolation Creek; if you came to camp Deerhorn Campground is a tremendous place to do that. So much exciting stuff to do here in the Blue Mountains, too great to be true. John
Day River - North Fork is a tremendous whitewater spot near Lost Lake Trail It's always magnificent to stop by Dupratt Spring. All year is a tremendous time in the Blue Mountains if you fancy the outdoors. A pleasant spot to take a look at near Lost Lake Trail is Anderson Gulch.
