| | walkers in good shape. There are two trailheads to chose from, one in each end, so backcountry trekking it one way is an option if you can arrange for a ride back. Lost Camp Trail gets much water; during the month of November you get the most rain around here, and July is when it's the driest. Now, this is roughly a 2.5-day hike, so make sure you've got all your overnight gear packed. And keep in mind that there could be temporary safety restrictions in spot. Keep in mind that this is a long hiking trail, so do pack enough food to last the whole trip. | |

a fine spot. A lengthy tour separates Eugene-Springfield from Lost Camp Trail, but it is a fine hiking trail. At parts of the year this neighborhood sees very little rain, so do check for current fire restrictions before you go if you plan to bring a stove or make a camp fire.
This trail has a total elevation difference of 3,991 feet which is a higher than average number. This is an area covered with lots of wilderness hiking trails. Different parts of Lost Camp Trail are at very different elevations which of course means you need to be prepared for
different conditions on different parts of the trail.
Briefly about the general area: Everybody loves Horse Prairie, and paddling on Copland Creek is so much fun. This place, the Central Cascade Range, has so much outdoors cool things. Midnight Spring is always fun to
check out, and why not a little side spree to Homestead Creek. So much amusing stuff to do in the Central Cascade Range, not enough time. Bulldog Creek is a stunning stream that is worth stopping at. A splendid location to camp here at Lost Camp Trail is Slim Chance Campground;
a spree to Lost Camp Prairie revitalizes the spirit. Having a great time at Lost Camp Trail is trouble-free. Camping is available at Weeping Rock Campground, and Illahee Spring is a wonderful local attraction. Get dripping wet paddling on Steamboat Creek, and you might also want to pay a visit to Dark Canyon since you're here at Lost Camp Trail.
