Oregon hiking trails - Lookout Mountain Trail, Central Cascade Range, Lane County

   
  Lookout Mountain Trail is in a pretty isolated region, and backcountry backpacking it is good fun any time. If you happen to be in Oregon, why not go backpacking, it is so much fun. Every Oregon great outdoors hiking trail is well worth a backcountry trek. This area does get very dry sometimes, so do check for current fire restrictions before you go if you plan to bring a stove or make a camp fire. You should count on this hike taking about 3 hours, but you never know stuff could go wrong and you could get stuck so be prepared for that. For the duration
    of the summer, highs generally are in the 70's at Lookout Mountain Trail, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 40's, and overnight lows at Lookout Mountain Trail through the wintertime usually descend into
the 30's. There are not too many hiking trails in this neighborhood. Even though this is not a very long wilderness trail it's always great to bring some emergency supplies, you never know what could happen. Can’t wait to get out in nature, Lookout Mountain Trail in Lane County, Oregon is a great place for getting out. This backpacking trail has two trailheads which means you have the option of backcountry backpacking it one way if you have someone to pick you up at the other end. This part of Oregon has a wonderful deal of available outdoors endeavors.  
Oregon has plenty of great great outdoors hiking trails; one of them being Lookout Mountain Trail in Lane County. The high level of precipitation makes Lookout Mountain Trail a reasonably wet site; through the month of December you get the most rain around here while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This backpacking trail has a total elevation difference of 527 feet which is lower than average. Backcountry backpacking here in the Central Cascade Range is a wonderful way to explore these mountaintops. Being 3.2 miles long it's shorter than many backpacking trails. This hiking trail is a very short hiking trail with an average amount of climbing distance which makes this hiking trail perfect for the average hiker looking for a cool adventure. Lookout Mountain Trail stays roughly within the same elevation zone the whole time, so you get pretty much the same conditions along the whole backpacking trail. Don’t forget to check for any current restrictions or closures before you go.

Briefly about the general area:
So many entertaining things to do in the Central Cascade Range, not enough time. There are some perfect whitewater spots on Horse Creek. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Lookout Mountain Trail has to offer, you can camp at Tombstone Prairie Campground.
There's whitewater on Blue River for all you adrenaline kick people, and Lookout Mountain Trail is a great place to camp, Patio RV Park is a great place.
