Little Dark Canyon Trail is a one trailhead trail, so you'll be trekking it in and back out. This trail has a total elevation difference of 219 feet which is a lower than average number. This backcountry walk shouldn't take more than 3.5 hours, but you never know stuff could go wrong and you could get stuck so be prepared for that. With its 4 miles of walking distance it's a mid length backcountry hike. Even though this is not a very long wilderness trail you should still bring some emergency supplies just in case something happens. There's not much difference in elevation along Little Dark Canyon Trail, so you get pretty much the same conditions along the whole trail. Sometimes this wilderness trail gets really dry, so don’t forget to check for any current fire restrictions before you go.
