restrictions in place. Oregon is an outstanding spot for walkers. With its 22.8 miles of walking distance; it's longer than many trails. Different parts of this trail are at very different elevations, so keep in mind that you may need to dress differently at different elevations.
High temperatures at Little Belknap Trail through the warm months are in the 80's, and the overnight is fairly chillier of course, mostly in the 40's. All through the wintertime the highs are mostly in the 30's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Little Belknap Trail.
The total elevation difference for this hiking trail is 1,726 feet, and that is about average. This trek should take you about 3.5 days, so better have big backpack to fit all the stuff you need.
Briefly about the general area: Man, is there plenty of amusing stuff to
do near Little Belknap Trail. The Island is a nice place to check out, and of course West Lava Creek is a lovely stream that is worth visiting. Whitewater paddling is fine on Marion Creek; close by Hidden Valley is a brilliant site to go. Now, you may assume that's a heap but
there's even more entertaining stuff to do here in the Central Cascade Range. Lake Valley is a fine location; Douthit Spring is an inspiring location to check out while you're here. And if that's not enough there's a load more fun things to do in the Central Cascade Range. Take
some time to take a look at Willamette National Forest if you're here, and a great place to camp here at Little Belknap Trail is Camp Tamarack. A tour to Little Belknap Trail wouldn't be complete without taking a look at Coldwater Spring; camping at Suttle Lake Resort and Marina is always a perfect experience. Get wet paddling on Squaw Creek, and don't forget to take a good little spree to Hoodoo Creek.
