Oregon hiking trails - Little Belknap Trail, Central Cascade Range, Linn County

   
  When was the last time you got out in the wilderness a bit? Little Belknap Trail in Linn County, Oregon is the wilderness at its best. You'll need to go far from Bend to get to Little Belknap Trail, but you always have a good time when you're backpacking along it. This part of Oregon is always a joy to visit during trekking season. When you're here in Oregon trekking along one of its trails is a fine idea. Little Belknap Trail is a wet location that gets a lot of rain; December is the month that gets the most rain while July is generally the driest month.
    Different parts of Little Belknap Trail are at very different elevations, and that means that some parts of the backcountry trail could be very different from other parts of it. Little Belknap Trail is quite long, so do pack enough food to last the whole trip. There are so many
trails in this region. The great outdoors trails of the Central Cascade Range are a tremendous way to explore these mountains. Oregon has plenty of fine trails, and among these are Little Belknap Trail in Linn County. Every single Oregon trail is well worth a backcountry walk. Little Belknap Trail is 22.8 miles long; it's longer than many backcountry trails. This region does get very dry sometimes, so do check for current fire restrictions before you go if you plan to bring a stove or make a camp fire. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Little Belknap  
Trail. For the period of the moonlight hours it's usually in the 40's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Little Belknap Trail. Little Belknap Trail is many miles long with an average amount of climbing distance which makes this a very tough trail for advanced backcountry walkers looking for a nice challenge. The total elevation difference for this trail is 1,726 feet, and that is about average. Don’t forget to check for any current restrictions or closures before you go. Of course, this is an overnight hike, 3.5 days normally, so better have big backpack to fit all the stuff you need. Little Belknap Trail is a two ended trail with two trailheads which means you have the option of trekking it one way if you have someone to pick you up at the other end.

This river is so great. Take a little visit to Hoodoo Creek if you're here at Little Belknap Trail, and a trip to Coldwater Spring will fill your spirit with glorious feelings. Lots of fun awaits you along this river.
A nice location for whitewater paddling close to Little Belknap Trail is Marion Creek, and don’t forget to take a look at Lake Valley since you're here at Little Belknap Trail. All year is a fine time in the Central Cascade Range if you love the outdoors. Put some time aside to spend at Douthit Spring since you're here at Little Belknap Trail, and you don't ought to go far to enjoy Willamette National Forest. I don't want to stop, cause I'm havin' a perfect time here at Little Belknap Trail. Stay the night at Suttle Lake Resort and Marina, and a pleasant place like The Island here at Little Belknap Trail is too splendid to miss.
Life's too short to enjoy all the enjoyable things in the Central Cascade Range. West Lava Creek is right next door to Little Belknap Trail and is always a delight to pop by, and if you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Squaw Creek. Since you're here at Little Belknap Trail why not explore Hidden Valley. There's so much to do here at Little Belknap Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Blue Lake Resort is a fine location for that.
