  A visit to Oregon is not complete without some backpacking. Spending too much time indoors got you down? No problem, Little Baldy Trail in Grant County, Oregon is just the site. Here in Oregon hiking is a tremendous way to spend some time. This is one of many backpacking and hiking trails in the surrounding area. Little Baldy Trail is a location that is relatively dry usually; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This hiking trail has two trailheads, so hiking it one
    way is an option if you can arrange for a ride back. This backpacking trail goes through some very different elevations, and that means that some parts of the backpacking trail could be very different from other parts of it. There are so many magnificent hiking trails for hiking
in Oregon, and one of these is Little Baldy Trail in Grant County. Many miles from the nearest city you have Little Baldy Trail, and it is an enjoyable site to hike. Wilderness trails like this one here in the Blue Mountains are a very glorious way to see these summits. For the duration of the days of summer highs here at Little Baldy Trail get into the 80's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's while the cold winter nights at Little Baldy Trail are in the 20's. This is a backcountry trail that  
is quite long, so make sure you bring plenty of supplies. This hiking trail has a total elevation difference of 3,398 feet, and that is higher than average. Don’t forget to check for any current restrictions or closures before you go. Little Baldy Trail is 20.4 miles long; it's a long backpacking trail. Now, this is roughly a 3-day backcountry walk, so it's a nice thing if your backpack is big enough to do the job. The length of this great outdoors trail is on the longer side having an average number of uphill miles which makes this backpacking and hiking trail fine for hard core backpackers looking for adventure. Each one of the many hiking trails of Oregon has something unique to offer. Sometimes this backcountry trail gets really dry, so make sure you check current conditions and fire restrictions with local forest authorities before you head out.

Briefly about the general area:
There's so much to do here at Little Baldy Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Looney Spring Campground is a perfect place for that; why not a little side visit to Crescent Creek. Places like Little Meadows are pleasant to check out; Bogue Gulch is in the neighborhood, and is a pleasant spot.
Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this location. If you came to camp Wickiup Campground is a nice place to do that. Buck Spring is a lovely location to take a look at while you're at Little Baldy Trail, and Sunshine Flat is a scenic location any time of year. Just can't get enough of the Blue Mountains. A short spree to Trout Farm Spring is always worthwhile, and swing by Call Creek it's a magnificent site to have a look at.
