Gotta get out of the town man, and Little Badger Creek Trail in Wasco County, Oregon is the wilderness at its best. This is an area covered with lots of backpacking and hiking trails. Little Badger Creek Trail is a two ended backcountry trail with two trailheads, so if you can get a ride from someone, you can backcountry walk it just one way. If you are in Oregon during trekking season you have to go trekking. Being 11
    miles long; it's longer than many hiking trails. Delightful backpacking trails in Oregon are in abundance; among these are Little Badger Creek Trail in Wasco County. The total elevation difference for Little Badger Creek Trail is 2,826 feet, and that is higher than average. And
keep in mind that there could be temporary safety restrictions in place. This is a long hiking trail, so make sure you bring plenty of supplies. Little Badger Creek Trail is a wet site that gets a great deal of rain; the month with most of the snow is December, and July is when it's the driest. Some parts of this hiking trail are much higher up than other parts of the hiking trail which of course means you need to be prepared for different conditions on different parts of the hiking trail. This hiking trail is a hiking trail of perfect length with an  
average amount of climbing distance which makes this backpacking and hiking trail good for hard core backpackers looking for adventure. Summertime brings highs in the 60's to Little Badger Creek Trail. During the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 40's. During the wintertime this site gets highs in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Little Badger Creek Trail are in the 20's. The hiking trails of the Central Cascade Range are a great way to explore these hills. Now, this is roughly a 1.5-day walk, so better have big backpack to fit all the stuff you need. Little Badger Creek Trail is to be found a pretty long drive from City of The Dalles, but it sure is a a fine wilderness hiking trail.

Briefly about the general area:
A quick journey to Cedar Creek next to Little Badger Creek Trail is a great idea, and a short trip to Bennett Spring is always worthwhile. And if that's not enough there's lots more fun things to do in the Central Cascade Range. A spree to Little Badger Creek Trail wouldn't be complete without taking a look at Stockton Spring; a glorious spot to camp here at Little Badger Creek Trail is Dam Campground.
Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this place. If you're here at Little Badger Creek Trail, you could stop by North Fork Rock Creek, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend White River. There's whitewater on White River for all you adrenaline rush seekers, and camping is available at Pine Hollow Lakeside Resort. Now, you may think that's a lot but there's even more exciting things to do here in the Central Cascade Range. Deadman Gulch is a brilliant site to explore nearby.
Here at Little Badger Creek Trail there are plenty of folks from City of The Dalles, and since you're here you must pop by Flag Point.
