Oregon hiking trails - Leach Camp Trail, Central Cascade Range, Douglas County

   
  There are hiking and backpacking trails all over Oregon; one of them being Leach Camp Trail in Douglas County. for that. These backcountry trails here in the Central Cascade Range are a really pleasant way to spend quality time in the great outdoors. With its 2.2 miles of walking distance it's a shorter type trek. Time to get out, and breathe some fresh air, and Leach Camp Trail in Douglas County, Oregon is the fresh air at its best. Leach Camp Trail gets much water; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily November, that's the one that rains the most, and July is when it's the driest. There are two trailheads to chose from, one in each end, so hiking it one way  
is an option if you can arrange for a ride back. Different parts of this wilderness trail are at very different elevations, and that means that some parts of the wilderness trail could be very different from other parts of it. All through the days of summer at Leach Camp Trail highs are usually in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 40's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Leach Camp Trail. Leach Camp Trail is a very short backcountry trail with an average amount of climbing distance which makes this wilderness trail nice for the average backcountry hiker looking for an enjoyable adventure. The total elevation difference for this backcountry trail is 1,608 feet which is an average number. This is not a very long great outdoors trail but it's always magnificent to bring some emergency supplies, you never know what could happen. Oregon is a tremendous place for outdoors folks.

Briefly about the general area:
You'll need more than a day to discover everything Leach Camp Trail has to offer, you can camp at River View RV Park. Man, is there a heap of exciting stuff to do in the Central Cascade Range. A quick tour to East Pass Creek in the neighborhood of Leach Camp Trail is a good idea; in case you don’t mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Canyon Creek.
Call Creek flows through this neighborhood, and you can stay the night at Smith Springs Campground.
