Oregon hiking trails - Lake Way, Central Cascade Range, Lane County       As long as you like the great outdoors you will like Oregon. Every hiking and backpacking trail in Oregon is stunning in its own way. There are hiking and backpacking trails all over Oregon; one of those is Lake Way in Lane County. The hiking and backpacking trails of the Central Cascade Range are a really fine way to spend quality time in the great outdoors. Lake Way is not very next to Bend at all, but it's one of those spots where trekking is tremendous. Lake Way is many miles long with an average amount of climbing distance which makes it a great backpacking     trail for experienced walkers in nice shape. This backpacking trail sometimes gets very dry, so make sure you check current conditions and fire restrictions with local forest authorities before you head out. Of course, this is an overnight backcountry trek, 2 days normally, so make sure you've got all your overnight gear packed. With its 14.8 miles of walking distance; it's longer than many hiking trails. Spending too much time indoors got you down? No problem, Lake Way in Lane County, Oregon is the outdoors at its best. Throughout the summertime months at Lake Way temperatures are ordinarily in the 80's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 40's. For the duration of the winter this place gets highs in the 30's while Lake Way night low temperatures during the winter are in the 20's. And keep   in mind that there could be temporary safety restrictions in place. Lake Way is a wet place that gets a lot of rain; December is the month that gets the most rain; July is when it's the driest. Lake Way has a total elevation difference of 1,337 feet which is about average. This is a long backpacking trail, so make sure you bring plenty of supplies. Here in Oregon backcountry trekking is so much fun. This hiking trail has only one trailhead, so you'll be trekking it in and back out. You spend the whole trek in roughly the same elevation zone, so you won’t have to worry about different climate zones along your trek. There are so many backpacking trails in this area. Briefly about the general area: This location, the Central Cascade Range, has so much outdoors cool things. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Horse Creek, and a visit to Island Meadow revives the soul. If you came to camp East Lake Resort and RV Parks is a wonderful location to do that, and close by you find magnificent spots like Corral Draw. If you're here at Lake Way, you could visit Sink Creek, and a trip to Elk Lake Springs will fill your soul with glorious feelings. Reserve Meadow is a splendid spot, and Lake Way is good enough to spend more than a day at, Upper Campground is a good local campground. So much enjoyable stuff to do in the Central Cascade Range, not enough time. The beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Wright Spring. There's just no way someone can get bored here at Lake Way. It's a splendid idea to stop by Quinn Creek, it's close to Lake Way, and get soaked paddling on Deschutes River.
