Oregon hiking trails - Lake Way, Central Cascade Range, Lane County

   
  Wilderness hiking trails for trekking, and backpacking can be found all over Oregon, and Lake Way is one of them, and it's in Lane County. While visiting this neighborhood in Oregon it's a good idea to go trekking too. It's a lengthy journey from Bend to Lake Way, but it's one of those places where backcountry trekking is nice. Hitting the great outdoors trails is always an enjoyable thing to do, and Lake Way in Lane County, Oregon is such a wonderful place. If you happen to be in Oregon, why not go trekking, it is something that is always fun to do.
    Every Oregon wilderness trail is pretty in its own way. The picturesque backcountry hiking trails of the Central Cascade Range are a really wonderful way to spend quality time in nature. Lake Way has only one trailhead, so you'll be trekking it in and back out. A great deal of
rainfall falls at Lake Way; of all the months in a year December is the one with the most rain, and the driest month is July. And keep in mind that there could be temporary safety restrictions in place. Sometimes this wilderness hiking trail gets really dry, so do check for current fire restrictions before you go if you plan to bring a stove or make a camp fire. Lake Way is a backcountry hiking trail of wonderful length having an average number of uphill miles which makes it a nice hiking trail for experienced backcountry hikers in nice shape. Being 14.8  
miles long; it's a long backcountry trail. Lake Way has a total elevation difference of 1,337 feet, and that is about average. This is a long wilderness hiking trail, so don't forget to pack enough supplies. This is a neighborhood covered with lots of hiking trails. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Lake Way, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. For the duration of the wintertime this spot gets highs in the 30's with temperatures at Lake Way dipping down into the 20's during winter nights. This backcountry walk should take you about 2 days, so it's a brilliant thing if your backpack is big enough to do the job. There's not much difference in elevation along the backcountry trail, so you won’t have to worry about different climate zones along your backcountry hike.

Briefly about the general area:
This site rules, just check out all the entertaining things to do near Lake Way. Near Lake Way you stumble on Corral Draw which is a delightful location to check out, and there are some great whitewater spots on Deschutes River. Upper Campground is a pleasant campground here; everyone loves Island Meadow.
Be careful coming to the Central Cascade Range, you might not ever want to return back home again. There's whitewater on Horse Creek for all you thrill seekers. Yeah, come up here to the Central Cascade Range for a tremendous time. Camping at Lake Way is magnificent fun, East Lake Resort and RV Parks is a magnificent local campground, and why not go to close by Sink Creek while you're here at Lake Way. Don't leave Lake Way without first paying a visit to Wright Spring, and Reserve Meadow is a nice site.
It's always tremendous to have a look at Elk Lake Springs, and of course Quinn Creek is a lovely stream that is worth going to.
