is a long backpacking trail, so make sure you bring plenty of supplies. Here in Oregon backcountry trekking is so much fun. This hiking trail has only one trailhead, so you'll be trekking it in and back out. You spend the whole trek in roughly the same elevation zone, so you won’t
have to worry about different climate zones along your trek. There are so many backpacking trails in this area.
Briefly about the general area: This location, the Central Cascade Range, has so much outdoors cool things. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Horse Creek,
and a visit to Island Meadow revives the soul. If you came to camp East Lake Resort and RV Parks is a wonderful location to do that, and close by you find magnificent spots like Corral Draw. If you're here at Lake Way, you could visit Sink Creek, and a trip to Elk Lake Springs
will fill your soul with glorious feelings. Reserve Meadow is a splendid spot, and Lake Way is good enough to spend more than a day at, Upper Campground is a good local campground. So much enjoyable stuff to do in the Central Cascade Range, not enough time. The beauty of mother
nature reveals herself at Wright Spring. There's just no way someone can get bored here at Lake Way. It's a splendid idea to stop by Quinn Creek, it's close to Lake Way, and get soaked paddling on Deschutes River.
