Please follow all local rules about fires and camping. Lake Way stays roughly within the same elevation zone the whole time which means the conditions are about the same from start to finish. Now, this is roughly a 2-day walk, so make sure you've got all your overnight gear packed.
When you're here in Oregon hiking along one of its hiking trails is a wonderful way to spend some time. Oregon is a good spot for outdoors people. The length of Lake Way is on the longer side having an average number of uphill miles which makes this trail splendid for hard core
backpackers looking for adventure. This is a long hiking trail, so make sure you bring plenty of supplies.
Briefly about the general area: That right there is lots of amusing stuff already but it goes on, the Central Cascade Range has it all. If you want a little side
spree, try Corral Draw, and Elk Lake Springs is always fun to check out. Any time is a good time at Lake Way if you have a thing about the outdoors. Everybody loves Reserve Meadow. There's so much to do here at Lake Way that you need to camp here for a while, Upper Campground is
a good spot for that. Getting to Sink Creek from Lake Way is trouble-free, and Island Meadow is a fine site here at Lake Way. Wright Spring is a magnificent local attraction, and Deschutes River is a magnificent whitewater spot nearby. Take a little spree to Quinn Creek if
you're here at Lake Way, and you can stay the night at East Lake Resort and RV Parks. You'll truly wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the exciting stuff in the Central Cascade Range. In the event that you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Horse Creek.
