Oregon hiking trails - Lake Creek Trail, Blue Mountains, Grant County

   
  Oregon has plenty of glorious backcountry trails; one of these is Lake Creek Trail in Grant County. Here in Oregon trekking is an outstanding idea. Oregon has so much to offer the great outdoors lovers. Lake Creek Trail goes through some very different elevations which of course means you need to be prepared for different conditions on different parts of the backcountry trail. This is a neighborhood covered with lots of wilderness hiking trails. And keep in mind that there could be temporary safety restrictions in location. Time to get out, and breathe
    some fresh air, and Lake Creek Trail in Grant County, Oregon is a splendid spot to go. This area does get very dry sometimes, so don’t forget to check for any current fire restrictions before you go. This walk should take you about 2.5 days, so make sure you've got all your overnight
gear packed. Lake Creek Trail is 17.4 miles long; it's considered a longer backcountry trek. At Lake Creek Trail through the summertime highs are in the 80's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 30's. For the duration of the wintertime highs are usually in the 30's with temperatures at Lake Creek Trail dipping down into the 10's all through winter nights. Lake Creek Trail is not very right next door to La Grande at all, but what a splendid spot for hiking it is. Lake Creek Trail is a location that is quite dehydrated regularly; of all  
the months in a year November is the one with the most rain while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Now this hiking and backpacking trail is pretty long, so make sure you bring plenty of supplies. These trails here in the Blue Mountains are a glorious way to explore these hills. Lake Creek Trail is many miles long with an average amount of climbing distance which makes this wilderness hiking trail perfect for hard core backpackers looking for adventure. There are plenty of backcountry trails in Oregon; each one of them is well worth a hike. The total elevation difference for Lake Creek Trail is 2,647 feet which is higher than average. Lake Creek Trail is a two ended wilderness trail with two trailheads, so hiking it one way is an option if you can arrange for a ride back.

This place, Lake Creek Trail, it absolutely has so much outdoors enjoyable stuff. Everybody loves Desolation Meadows, and a visit to Snowshoe Spring will fill your spirit with great feelings. A tour to Lost Meadow revitalizes the spirit; naturally Silver Creek is a striking stream that is worth visiting.
Now, you may believe that's a heap but there's even more entertaining stuff to do here in the Blue Mountains. Visit Backout Creek since you're here at Lake Creek Trail, and camping is available at Corrigal Spring Campground. Whitewater paddling is perfect on Grande Ronde River, and a splendid location to pop by nearby is Anderson Gulch. Whohoo, so much enjoyable stuff in one place! The Blue Mountains is great! If you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on John Day River - North Fork.
This river is so perfect. Put some time aside to spend at Chrome Spring while you're here at Lake Creek Trail, and camping at Deerhorn Campground is always a tremendous experience.
