This is a hiking and backpacking trail that is quite long, so don't forget to pack enough supplies. Lake Creek Trail is 17.4 miles long; it's longer than many wilderness hiking trails. This hiking and backpacking trail sometimes gets very dry, so don’t forget to check for any current fire restrictions before you go. This hiking trail has a total elevation difference of 2,647 feet which is higher than average. Lake Creek Trail is a two ended hiking trail with two trailheads, so backcountry backpacking it one way is an option if you can arrange for a ride back. Different parts of Lake Creek Trail are at very different elevations, so keep in mind that you may need to dress differently at different elevations. This backcountry hike should take you about 2.5 days, so make sure you've got all your overnight gear packed.
