This wilderness hiking trail is a normal length wilderness hiking trail with an average amount of climbing distance which makes this a very tough hiking trail for advanced backcountry trekkers looking for a good challenge. Different parts of Knob Trail are at very different elevations, and that means that some parts of the hiking trail could be very different from other parts of it. the 20's to Knob Trail. This is a long hiking and backpacking trail, so don't forget to pack enough supplies. Backcountry hiking here in the Blue Mountains is a very delightful way to see these hills.
Briefly about the general area: All our national parks are great spots
to check out, and John Day Fossil Beds National Monument is no exception; White House Spring is a good local attraction. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors enjoyable things the Blue Mountains has to offer. A quick journey to South Fork Big Wall Creek right next door
to Knob Trail is a pleasant idea It's always splendid to check out Tamarack Spring. Near Knob Trail you discover East Bologna Canyon which is a great site to check out. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Knob Trail has to offer, you can camp at Lepage Park -
John Day Fossil Beds National Monument. Just can't get enough of Knob Trail. While you're here at Knob Trail it's a fine idea to go to Bologna Basin. There's so much to do here at Knob Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Elkhorn Tavern and RV Park is a tremendous place
for that. A pleasant journey to Rocky Flat is a wonderful way to spend an afternoon, and it's a great idea to go to Keating Creek. Having a tremendous time in the Blue Mountains is easy.
