It's a lengthy tour from Pendleton-Hermiston to Kelsay Butte Trail, but many people like to walk here to be near nature. And keep in mind that there could be temporary safety restrictions in spot. Kelsay Butte Trail gets very little rainfall; November is the month that gets the most rain, and July is the month with the least moisture. You spend the whole backcountry trek in roughly the same elevation zone, so you won’t have to worry about different climate zones along your backcountry trek. This backpacking and hiking trail is a mid length backpacking and hiking trail with an average amount of climbing distance which makes it a glorious wilderness hiking trail for experienced backcountry walkers in brilliant shape. No chance of getting bored in Oregon if you like the outdoors. Kelsay Butte Trail is 7 miles long it's an average length hiking trail.

Briefly about the general area:
There's some flowing water nearby, Bismark Creek is a stream you can take a look at during your stay, and Trough Creek Campground is a splendid local campground. Big Creek flows through this vicinity, and if you're here at Kelsay Butte Trail it's a magnificent idea to take a look at Lost Horse Meadow.
If you go for the outdoors, you'll love Kelsay Butte Trail. Don't leave Kelsay Butte Trail without first paying a visit to Handy Spring. So many exciting things to do here in the Blue Mountains, too pleasant to be true. Lehman Hot Springs is a glorious campground nearby, and in the event that you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on John Day River - North Fork. A pleasant spree to Kelsay Meadows is a fine way to spend an afternoon, and Kelsay Spring is an inspiring place to stop at during your stay.
