trail is not that long but it's always good to bring some emergency supplies, you never know what could happen. You spend the whole trek in roughly the same elevation zone, so you won’t have to worry about different climate zones along your trek. At parts of the year this vicinity
sees very little rain, so do check for current fire restrictions before you go if you plan to bring a stove or make a camp fire.
Briefly about the general area: There's no way anybody can get bored here in the Central Cascade Range. Clark Creek is a brilliant place to
pop by, and why not camp at Casey's Riverside Park while you're here at Johnny Creek Nature Trail. Some of the water nearby flows, like Timber Creek. If you come at the right time of year, Fall Creek offers some great whitewater, and camping is available at Upper End Campground.
